Terms and Conditions of Use of the RS Publications
This section of the RS official website on the Internet located at: https://lk.rs-class.org/regbook/rules (hereinafter, the RS website), is intended for posting the publications of the Federal Autonomous Institution "Russian Maritime Register of Shipping" (hereinafter, the Register, RS) in the form of electronic documents (hereinafter, the electronic publications). Electronic publications may be browsed by any interested person (hereinafter, the user) when visiting the RS website from electronic devices having the software intended for viewing PDF (Portable Document Format) files installed.
The Register does not make or distribute printed copies of electronic publications at the users’ request, except for cases stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
No part of a printed or electronic RS publication should be reproduced for commercial purpose, entered in the search engine or transmitted in any form or by any means, including electronic and mechanical means, photocopiers or other facilities, without prior written consent from the Register.
RS reserves its exclusive right for any RS publication issued in print or electronic form. Under no circumstances should the Register delegate its right to anyone for production and distribution of the publications.
The RS website is the only source of the official electronic publications (version of the electronic publication). Amendments to the electronic publication (version of the electronic publication) are introduced by posting on the RS website of rule change notices in the RS-established form, followed by posting the new version of the electronic publication containing relevant amendments, or by amending directly the new version of the electronic publication posted on the RS website. The Register reserves the right to alter the published version without a separate notice.
RS shall not be liable for the content of printed or electronic publications produced by the third parties. Purchase of such publications does not guarantee their currency or compliance with the authentic documents.
The Register is not liable for the integrity, currency or authenticity of the content in electronic publications received on user electronic devices by means other than directly from the RS website.

Information
Since 01.12.2023, all amendments to RS Publications are normally introduced by means of Rule Change Notices, except for urgent issues that are introduced by circular letters. After 01.01.2024 Urgent Rules Change Notices will be published in lieu of issuing of circular letters.
Rule Change Notices and Circular Letters (and Urgent Rules Change Notices, after 01.01.2024) are also available on the RS website (at https://lk.rs-class.org/regbook/rules), on the particular tab "Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters".
By clicking on particular Publications or their Parts (for those published as sets of Parts) a history of amendments to these Publications/Parts can be seen in the form of a table containing the list of appropriate versions, related entry-into-force dates and references to Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters, on which the listed versions were based.
While new versions of RS Publications/Parts are under development (i.e. until their publication on the RS website), relevant Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters become available under the topic "Pending amendments in the latest version" within one day after their approval and registration.
As soon as new versions of RS Publications/Parts become published on the RS website (in the column "Title") the references to relevant Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters are introduced in the right column of the table ("Amended by") and the entry-into-force dates are indicated in the left column "In force since".
New versions of RS Publications/Parts and Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters which have not entered into force yet are highlighted in green.
Rule Change Notices and Circular Letters (and Urgent Rules Change Notices, after 01.01.2024) are also available on the RS website (at https://lk.rs-class.org/regbook/rules), on the particular tab "Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters".
