RS Publications

    Since 01.12.2023, all amendments to RS Publications are normally introduced by means of Rule Change Notices, except for urgent issues that are introduced by circular letters. After 01.01.2024 Urgent Rules Change Notices will be published in lieu of issuing of circular letters.
    Rule Change Notices and Circular Letters (and Urgent Rules Change Notices, after 01.01.2024) are also available on the RS website (at https://lk.rs-class.org/regbook/rules), on the particular tab "Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters".
    By clicking on particular Publications or their Parts (for those published as sets of Parts) a history of amendments to these Publications/Parts can be seen in the form of a table containing the list of appropriate versions, related entry-into-force dates and references to Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters, on which the listed versions were based.
    While new versions of RS Publications/Parts are under development (i.e. until their publication on the RS website), relevant Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters become available under the topic "Pending amendments in the latest version" within one day after their approval and registration.
    As soon as new versions of RS Publications/Parts become published on the RS website (in the column "Title") the references to relevant Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters are introduced in the right column of the table ("Amended by") and the entry-into-force dates are indicated in the left column "In force since".
    New versions of RS Publications/Parts and Rule Change Notices/Circular Letters which have not entered into force yet are highlighted in green.
